This week, we will be reviewing
HIGH and LOW sounds! In music, the word HIGH usually means a high-pitched sound, like a bird tweeting or the school bell ringing. In music, the word LOW usually means a deep sound, like thunder rumbling or the first notes in the beginning of the baby shark song! |

STEP 1: Listen to this super short song about HIGH and LOW sounds. Notice how the singers' voices sing HIGH when they are singing about high notes, and sing low when they are singing about low notes!

STEP 3:
Print, download or open this worksheet by clicking here. STEP 4: Listen to the following musical examples and color the box for each example: ORANGE if it is a HIGH sound or PURPLE if it is a LOW sound. It is TOTALLY OK if you use different colors, or just simply write H/HIGH or L/LOW for each example - whatever is easiest for you and your supplies at home! |
